i am trying to put a new credit card in why are you accepting it i am not understating this

Hello Test.

"We" are not accepting or rejecting anything.  This is a resident-to-resident forum, and we are residents just like you.  If you want to speak to Linden Lab, you either need to file a Support Case or call their Billing number at 800-294-1067 or 703-286-6277.

The most common reason a card is not accepted is that you are trying to use a debit card or a prepaid card.  Linden Lab doesn't accept these, they only take actual CREDIT cards.  If all you have is a debit card, you can set up a PayPal or a Skrill account, then link your debit card to that account to "verify" it.  Then you can use your verified PayPal or Skrill account as an accepted payment method with Linden Lab.
