Why can't i be age verified?

I've tried all the different ways of age verification, and it still wont verify me. it says i'm verified, but i still cant view moderate or adult content. theres not a dropdown menu for content ratings either. what do i do?

Moderate is the default for anyone that joins over the age of 18, were you under 18 when you joined and you have since turned 18?

If so, seems that does cause the problem you have. Go to https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ and submit a ticket in one of the Account Issue categories, making it very clear in the text that you have turned 18 but can`t get the maturity rating to change.
