I got the wrong LHome and location...

but the Abandon Home button does not work, help I want to move-in!  I followed all the directions...do I need to wait before ditching the current land?  I just set up my premium account and got the home last night.

THanks to you both, between the two bits of advice I figured it out.  Classic noob maneuver by assuming that when I teleported from setting up the house, I assumed the house it put me in was mine...silly girl :womanvery-happy:

If the button is not lit up, are you sure you are at the right house?

Does it have your name as the owner and the parcel name?

Are you looking at About Land on your actual plot or the area outside surrounding it?

Make sure you are actually in the house or on the patio when you go to abandon it. You only own the actual home, not any of the land around it.

Once you abandon it, you should be able to choose another home right away. You can only abandon and choose a new home a few times in one day, though.

Check your account if you are not sure if you abandoned the land or not, you'll see your land holdings at 0.
