Age Verified but still locked out of adult areas

Im having  a  problem with age verification.  I did the process twice and it said I  was now confirmed as age verified, but when I try to include adult in  searches, it will only search in general and when i go 2 preferences on my veiwer it doesnt have a dropdown window 2 pick the maturity rating

Make sure you check the box to search mature content on the right upper side of your search window, if that is checked press ctrl and p , go to general tab and check if your rating setting is set to PG, mature and adult , also visit http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Adult_content

Mature rating is default unless you are under 18 or joined the grid when you were under 18.

if you just turned 18, you should submit a ticket on https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ in the Account issue category. I don`t think there is an exact ticket type for it as it only affects so few people, but pick one that is close enough and make it very clear in your text that you started as under 18 and have now been age verfied but your rating won`t let you update it.
