As soon as you hit enter it is either approved or not. But it can take up to 60 minutes to update to your account, you won't be able to use it until it updates.

I believe it sends a charge of $1 to validate it, so it shouldn`t take long as  Keli said.

I said "take up to 60 minutes" sometimes it is faster. The three times I have done it 2 of them only took 10 minutes but one took 60 minutes.

I would imagine the transaction is automatic & any delay will down to the how fast the CC company processes it, even an hour seems a long time but we are so spoilt nowadays...Not that long ago we`d be waiting 7-10 days for a cheque to clear LOL

That is so true. The reason I wrote a hour is because when you hit the submit button there is some text that pops up that says "This information may take up to 60 minutes to update to your account. If it does not update in 60 minutes you may want to enter your information again." It sends the information to the credit card company right away but it takes a while for LL to update your account so it says "Payment Information on File."
