I cancelled a LInden L$ transaction but the money was not returned to my debit card

my card was charged $18.92 usd for a transaction that I cancelled...  If you are able to take it in minutes,  you should

be able to return it just as fast.   following is the email that I received acknowledging  the canelation,  yet my debit card

has not been credited back  that money.

I think they refund the money to your second life USD balance, not your card/bank/paypal. 

Go to your https://secondlife.com/my/ then Account Summary and check the US Dollar balance.

Yumeni is right, you will not get your money back on your card, it will be put on your USD balance, for future use.

When you want to place a limit buy order, check below on the page what the current rate is, you would see 270 is more than currently is asked, so you would have to wait, perhaps for long time, the rate is around 268 for some time now.

 

Next to this, it's not clever to use a debit card, it's not officially supported, only paypal, skrill and credit cards are.

If you want to prevent future problems with acceptance i'd recommend to start using one of those.
