Is it possible to transfer my IMVU avatar to Second Life?

I just want to know if it's even a realistic process, and if so, I want desperately to find out how to do it.

Simple Answer: No

However, with some work you can probably create a fairly good approximation of your IMVU shape and locate a ready made skin that has the look and complexion that you desire. Of course once you have accomplished this, then the joys of shopping in the SL MarketPlace will be your next challenge.
