Can't teleport by clicking on teleport signs

When I got to an event and they have furniture or homes for sale, they usually have a sign that says "click to telelport to demo area".  When I click nothing happens.  Anyone know what the cause and solution would be for this?

Local teleporters operate in several different ways.

Try right clicking on the sign.  If "teleport" shows up as an option in the context menu, click that.

Some teleporters produce a "teleport beam", a column  of light, when you click them.  If it does, right click the beam and select either "teleport" or "sit", whichever option appears.

Sometimes, you can click something and get teleported, but your "camera", your point of view, doesn't change even though your actual body has moved to a new location.  Hit ESC.
