GPU help needed

After months of trying to figure this out on my own... I am tossing in the towel.

I need help figuring out what GPU I need for my system.

I have an Optiplex 745 destop, Windows 7 installed.

I know the GPU, Q965/Q963 is crap.  According to Game Debate, my CPU and Ram (8mb) is good enough to run SL... but the chip set.. no way.  My plan is to take the CPU from another system which would be an Intel Core 2 Due e7500.

So that needs upgrading. 

power - 280
8 Ram ddr2
Bios - current 2.6.6

As this is the desk top model, I will need a low profile card.

Im not looking to create a heavy gaming system. Just something that I can use on SL without having to turn all my graphic settings to ultra low when I am alone

Looking for 50 and under price tag.

An Nvidia GT610 shouldn't be more than $50 USD.. Go to BestBuy.com and see what you can afford..

You are going to be limited on what that power supply can push. power - 280, I assume you mean watts...you might need to upgrade that to get a decent GPU in that machine. The GTX 1060 for example recommends at least a 500w PSU although a 420W will probably do the job.
