Can't install Second_Life_4_0_4_314579_i686_Setup.exe

The new viewer Second_Life_4_0_4_314579_i686_Setup.exe keeps crashing before downloading completely.

I have Windows 10 Home N -

I installed the update and now I can't access second life at all.  It spends forever logging in and never quite makes it.  It's really annoying.  If you haven't managed to install the update don't bother until LL manage to fix the bug.

If you are having issues downloading this installation file then you need to turn off any anti-malware software that is monitoring your downloads. If you don't have any installed then you need to get your PC cleaned up as you have an active malware infection that is designed to keep you from downloading .exe's thinking that you are trying to disinfect your PC.

Otherwise

So far any issues with the current release of the Viewer are easily corrected by performing a Clean Installation.

If you are still having log in issues then try removing your Display Name, especially if you use special characters or fonts.  Many have been made illegal with the version 4 release of the SL Viewer.
