Unable to receive group invitations

There has been many times where someone sends a group invite and I don't receive it. I check my invitations and group tabs and nothing.

There seems to be a bug, or a "feature" in the last few months where a group invitation will not be saved if it's sent when you are off line.  If you were expecting an invitation and you don't see it, you'll just have to ask the group owner to send another one.
