You can just use any compatible joystick/joypad as well. My Logitech works pretty well.

Just on a completely unrelated note, I've noticed my post count (not that it matters) hasn't gone up since this new forum started,despite making at least 10.

I forced myself to learn to the use the keyboard shortcuts when fiddling with the first V2.0, when the camera controls were no longer on the same palette and you had to switch back and forth (since fixed, thankfully). It took me a while to get used to the keyboard, but once I did, it's now the only way I control the camera. One less window taking up real estate on my screen.
