How to request purchase of abandoned land on mainland?

There is a category.

When you open the Support case, select Land as the issue type, then  Abandoned Land as the secondary type.  Then include the region name and coordinates of the parcel you wish to buy.  In the box "describe the issue" tell them you would like to purchase that Abandoned parcel.

NOTE:  Those land categories might not show as available to you, if you are not a Premium member.  Only Premium members can own Mainland.
