Question

My friend received this mesage when trying to log in. She said she sent a request for help from LL with no response. Can anyone give her advice? Thanks. Heres the message:

"Before you are able to login again, we would like to talk with you about some unusual activity on your account. Accounts are held as a safety precaution when we have reason to believe they have been misused or compromised. Please provide relevant information that you believe would explain or clarify any incidents that you may have been involved in. You can do this by submitting a case which will notify us that you are available to communicate with.

Linden Lab reserves sole discretion in considering whether to take any action on a written appeal.

* If you would like to appeal this closure please provide relevant information that you believe would be pertinent to your account."

She cant find herself in the list of names either

Thanks a lot :)

Typically this means that the account has been banned or deactivated and can't be accessed again until they talk to her (if at all). If this is a premium account, she can just call the support number. If not, she may have to wait for email support to reply.

She need to log into the secondlife site--HERSELF and not you to contact linden labs about what is going on with her account

they will ask her some questions....to verify her account--questions only she will know-- if her account was compromised they can help her get her account back/restored

Possibility her account was compromosed and its more to protect her in the end

She needs to contact LL suport https://support.secondlife.com/?lang=en

i hope this works out

If she cannot log in to address the issue, one possibility would be for her to create a new account, and then file a support case.  Tell her to be sure to reference the account user name and the case number when she does so.

NOTE:  If Linden Lab determines that she is at fault for the questionable activities, they will not reinstate her.
