Lexbot Sinister
Rhino is not really compatible with SL, not right out of the box. At least i haven't found an easy way. Rhinos collada has been giving pretty odd results, but it's easy enough to convert through blender, using another file format. Rhinos UV mapping tools are also... working slightly in mysterious ways. Haven't been able to have any other program accept Rhino's UV-mapping. Also, you can't rig. I wouldn't rule Rhino out entirely though, for mesh creation. Building anything non-organic in it becomes very intuitive, wth just a little learning. If you can think it, and describe in words how you'd make it, you can do it in Rhino. You can write commands of what you want to do, and Rhino helps you along both with a list of things you can do, and then how it works. I wouldn't recommend it on it's own, but with other tools, it can work out decently. It can feel pretty similar to Maya, so if you already have Maya, Rhino gets redundant.
