Friend requests and voice calling

when someone requests friendship from me, i get the box and accept but it doesn't accept i have to request from them? why is that?

also when a friend voice calls me i no longer get the box where i can answer, i always have to call them... any solutions for these problems please???

Well, as it could take an age to figure what the problem is, it be far easier to uninstal the veiwer and do a clean install and start from that point.

Well thats probably the issue, as in you changed one setting and do not know which one. The reinstal will set it a default, but have to have some where to start else be running aroud headless. Settings you have can be redone, only take 5 mins.

ADDED, make sure you do a clean re install.

how do i do a total clean re-install... any tips please?

Find the veiwers file location, uninstall as normal then delete the entire veiwer files folder manualy. If you want to keep the chat logs, why i never bother, then you will have to move them before you delete. Then install the veiwer. When you log into SL wait until the inventory is re populated before you do anything else.TYPO
