[Resolved.]Missing fonts for SL- Firestorm viewer

Question

Viewers don't support all ASCII characters or characters for other languages, so you can't fix this yourself.  You could contact Firestorm through their web page and suggest they add support for the language. Decisions to support a language's alphabet are made depending on the number of people in SL that need it.  If the population is small it probably won't be added, but there is no harm in asking.

Standard alphabetical characters for most languages are 'one point'  ASCII characters though can be worth a number of points per character.  Some special characters that are used in some languages are ASCII characters.   ASCII characters that are a couple or so points work.  But higher point characters are generally not supported here.  If a character is worth five points, it takes up the space on a typed line of five standard characters.  So it would cut way back on the amount of space you have to use.

Your computer or device is probably missing one or more Unicode fonts.

You don't mention any details about your operating environment, so I can't help further. But you should look for a trusted, safe download of the font you require, if you expect this to change.
