Okay, so my avatar is floating. To me, it is fine. To others, Im way up in the air. I use firestorm viewer.

*No, I am not flying.

*I have tried clearing cache, editing my hover height, editing my shape,etc

*I removed all shoe tattoos or layers

*I have installed/Re-installed Firestorm

Maybe your avatar wasn't completely loaded for the other person? It happens to me sometimes, mesh avatars seeming to float when they haven't finished loading. Have you tried asking to different person and see if your avatar floats in the air too for them?
