will amd processors run second life well?

so i am looking for a good pc build to run second life well like on medium or high settings is the amd athlon II 64 x2 280 dual core or the amd fx series good processors for second life and what would be good budget graphics cards that can work with a amd build and run second life

wifi wireless usb wifi adapter

 

case antec new solution series vsk-4000 black sgcc steel atx mid tower case 

 

power supply thermaltake 500 watt high perfomance power supply

 

monitor hp black 20" 7ms ips widescreen led-lcd monitor 

 

operating system windows 7 home premium

 

i know in its current state it might not be able to run second life atleast not as good but what if i upgrade the proccessor to a amd fx proccessor and get a good graphics card?

Doesn't look bad, I use the same mainboard on the machine  i previously mentioned, legacy bios, no uefi crap,

Just add a decent GPU ( preferably by Nvidia) and it will run Sl quite well.

You can replace the athlon with an FX series later, for SL, a performant GPU is more important.
