person not showing up to someone, but others can see them

ok. so im actually asking for a friend because im clueless. i have two friends on sl they are married .ill call them mt and ma. 

 

i can see everyone.  ma can see everyone. but mt can not see ma. 

 

they have tried everthing... even re installing, shutting down comp and resetting, clearing cache removing everything but mt still can not see ma and she is not showing up as online  to mt either

Maybe she has blocked you.  Can she see your local chat or an IM?  If not, you are blocked.  Easy way to get unblocked:  tell ma to tell mt to send you an IM.

mt has probably blocked you and that's why she/he can't see you..
