Seeking new home for established homestead

Looking to move a unique, long established homestead to a new permanent home. But this is not easy to find, so posting here, who knows, someone may be able to help or know someone who might. Tropical in style, est. 2011.

Rather than be alone, hoping to join with vibrant area, as large as possible. Access to sailable sea would be wonderful.

Owned by quiet group who like to hang out and chat, mostly.

Prompted by disbanding of current group of sims.

you can't just move a homestead. If it's yours you also have to own a full prim sim, (only than you really own a homestead), so i think you rent one.

Rented homesteads can't be moved to another group of sims without permission from the real owner. And he has to send the ticket to move to another location to LL himself.

If you don't own that homestead you most likely have no other choice than leave it and start renting another one. Not many other somonwerd will accept a homestead connecting to them if it's not theirs.

Another estate owner isn't going to deal with you in taking over the homestead.  They want the current estate owner to be the one that they deal with.  They have no idea if you have permission to advertise for a new estate owner so most probably won't want to waste time going through you.

Your best bet is to have your estate owner advertise the homestead for sale, or as free in exchange for taking over the tiers and request that they keep you as a tenant. There is no guarantee this will happen as once a new estate owner owns the island they can do with it what they want.  There is nothing that will make them keep you as a tenant even if they agree at the time of the sale unless there is a RL contract to do this.

If your estate owner won't cooperate, the next best thing is to have him create a raw file of your terraform and email it to you.   Then you can get a rezz box that packs all the items that are mod on your homestead.  Lastly pick up the things that are no mod. 

Find another homestead to rent then have the new estate owner load the raw file so you get the same 'island' back.  Even if you get estate management rights only the owner can do this.  Next rezz all the stuff out of the rez box so it all goes back to the same place it was, lastly put out your no mod items.
