Why do some adult places not let me enter saying I'm under age?

I'm 25 and I am age verified and can search adult places but since I'm new I haven't upgraded to a premium account yet or added a credit card . Could that be the reason ?

Yep! Specifically, it's probably the fact that you haven't provided Payment Information on File (PIOF) - a valid payment method such as a credit card.

There's a couple of different 'types' of exclusive land access. Most only use the region setting (in this case, Adult), but a few places may also enable a setting that prevents those without Payment Info from visiting. I guess to cut down on thrill-seekers.

Adding a payment method will resolve this issue.

In addition to what Freya has said, some land / estate owners do not allow avatars that are under 30 days old to enter.  This is nothing personal.  Many griefers use throw away alts that are under 30 days to do their dirty work.  So it is a way to protect against some of the trouble griefers cause.

Good point! I hadn't thought it could be "under age" as in... under *SL* age.
