Reymundo
So I've been wanting to build like a Star Trek themed Skybox that uses the basis of crew quarters but I've been stuck on figuring out how to make a arched wall with a square cut through it, or close as like in this depiction:http://startrekresolution.wdfiles.com/local--files/senior-officer-quarters/offquart.jpgI know it's possible...and if it isn't is there anything out on the marketplace that could do the job? Rolig Loon
It will be easiest and most realistic to make the whole thing as a mesh object. You'll end up with lower L.I. too. If you try to do it with standard prims, it will be lots more work and the end result won't look as smooth.
Ohjiro Watanabe
Rolig is right but if you find using 3D software like blender makes rocket science look easy (as I do) you can do it with prims. Making curved parts can be done with spheres and cylinders. Hollow them out and then cut them to shape and attach them to flat bits.
