Kamijo Watanabe
I've found a gambling item that has violated the LL wagering policy: (Taken from the Linden Lab blog)….PolicyIt is a violation of this policy to wager in games in the Second Life (R) environment operated on Linden Lab servers if such games:(1) (a) rely on chance or random number generation to determine a winner, OR (b) rely on the outcome of real-life organized sporting events,AND(2) provide a payout in(a) Linden Dollars, OR(b) any real-world currency or thing of value. This includes (but is not limited to), for example, Casino Games such as:o Baccarato Blackjacko Crapso Faroo Kenoo Pachinkoo Pai Gowo Pokero Rouletteo Sic Boo Slot machines However there is no such "Gambling Item" to choose in the flag options. Which option is the closest i should choose? Thanks. :)
Chelsea Malibu
If they aren't a threat to you or someone else, why worry. Are these devices a threat to you, your business or anyone you know and if so, what is that threat? How does it limit or defer what you are trying to do? I mean, is this really how you think your time is most valuable? being a lnden labs snitch?
Gordon Wendt
I have to agree with Chelsea. Generally I'm all in favor of helping the Lindens enforce the rules but as someone who pre-dates the gambling ban I can honestly say that this was one of the ill thought out bans ever since LL is relying on us to enforce it for them entirely. Let hte Lindens spend their time and money on enforcement.
Hayami Kamachi
I don't really think there is anything you can technically flag it under. The closest thing I could find would probably be "Non-Item Listing > Real-World Good or Service", however I would probably follow the advice of the others who have posted above, just ignore it. I wouldn't risk having your account accused of abusing the flag feature.
richard Zhichao
why would you tag that? leave it alone! just walk away let linden labs do that!
Cherie Faith
What is the latest, as at May 2011 of the 'gambling' situation. I have seen some Raffle Boards with a payout of L$ with no entry fee, raffle boards that give an item as payout and have heard that betting will be commencing on inworld horse races.....Anyone got the most recent information? thanks
