itsbiggerontheinside
Hi everyone,I've been messing around on photoshop for years now, and I finally decided to try and make avatar pictures on secondlife.I'm just looking for some advice and maybe a critique.Thank you! The bottom of this one is the unedited photo, No I wasn't using photoshop, I was experimenting with another program which I quite like. This is the second photo I ever did. This is one of my first edits, I went pretty hard on the contouring but I like it.This is myself in SL.

Chase011488303235
The countour line on your face doesn't match the lighting scheme throughout the rest of the photo so the effect looks awkward and it really draws attention away from the rest of your face. Bobbie Faulds
The full photo, the hand is hiding the face...you need to be careful with that. Another suggestion would be to try taking your photos using the Black Dragon third party viewer. It was designed to take photos and machinima so all your photo tools, including some settings that are usually buried in the debug settings, are in a fly out menu on the right side of the screen. It's not designed for every day use unless you have a high-end graphics card, but it takes breathtaking photos.
