My Viewer will not open...

Ever since the last update, my viewer has not been opening. It loads like it's going to open but then dissapears.Before I installed the update, everything was working fine so I'm not sure what's happening. I discovered that I'm not the only one with this problem. Could there possibly be an issue with the servers?

It's not the servers, it's a problem in the new viewer code that handles graphics card identification.  It'll probably get fixed in the next viewer update.  In the meantime, download and install one of the many third party viewers, or one of the LL project viewers.

There's a problem with some setups and the video-card detection/test system the current viewer uses.

This is the test version of the viewer that's hoped to be the fix - if you want to try it click on the links next to the word "install". CYGWIN is for Windows.
