Suki Hirano
Does anyone know how it's possible to morph mesh with scripts, without using the old "have all copies of the mesh linked together and just show/hide various morphs" trick? An example is this tail I saw, you clearly don't see 30 copies of the thing all linked together with all except one hidden, yet you can use the hud to change the shape, and no they're not simply resizing it. You can also show/hide parts yet they don't become invisible, they're completely gone when hidden. Is the script destroying the linked prim and rezzing a new one or something? Sassy Romano
Possibly, if it's the tail i'm thinking about, it's just a good scripting job and sometimes it does resize segments of the mesh and the shapes it can make are just all scripted. There's no way to morph a mesh.
Innula Zenovka
In addition to Sassy's suggestion, you can also do quite a lot by showing/hiding faces and by switching textures. Otherwise, as Sassy suggests, it's easy enough to shrink components down to the minimum possible size, make them invisible and hide them inside other prims or the wearer's body when they're not needed.
