There's an obscure security bug in the Second Life internal browser that was recently detected (it's not really a SL issue - the basic security flaw is in a common Internet protocol that has been around for eighteen years but has only been detected recently.) Facebook currently blocks logins from browsers that are effected. This release candidate should patch this issue in the viewer browser:
