The background... as in.. the view behind you? The rest of the Second Life world?

Yes, you can rez a large green flat surface with FULLBRIGHT applied to the surface. This will cover your view of the simulator and any objects beind you.

For bonus points you can even run the video through Media On A Prim on the same prim behind you and skip all the rotoscoping/green-screening altogether!

thank you but I don't even know how to do that. I am brand new to this and haven't really had the chance to check it all out. I need to get an assignment done and thought I might be able to use the avatar. You might need to spell out the steps for me lol.

Thanks

This service is not designed for that kind of thing. I can provide links to resources but building and media is going to be yours to learn.

You can optionally attend classes (available in-world) or pay other users for this work to be done for you.

Learning Second Life is a slow process.
