How do I get a green screen for a background and can I record my avatar speaking and save it in avi format?

Can anyone tell me how I make my avatar lip sync. I am very new to this and haven't moved off my perch yet so I have alot to learn but for now I need her to lip sync so I can record her. Thanks

thank you but I don't even know how to do that. I am brand new to this and haven't really had the chance to check it all out. I need to get an assignment done and thought I might be able to use the avatar. You might need to spell out the steps for me lol. Thanks

Can I make the background green so I can import my video to another application. I want to have my avatar talking and then add it to Power Director with a true video running in the background
