How do I stand up after lying down. My avatar is stuck in a lying down position.

How do I stand up after laying down.  My avator is stuck lying down.  The stand button does not appear.  Nothing happens when I hit sit either.

Go to Avatar /Health/then cancel all animations.. that should do it

You may have a stuck animation.  Try the Stop Animating Me option that you'll find in the Me menu (It's called slightly different things in each viewer, but it's always in the Me (or Avatar or File) menu.)  You can also try using a Stop Animation device.  You'll find several in Marketplace, and the best ones are free.

Devices like that will stop any animations except ones that are being triggered repeatedly by a scripted device like your AO.  If the problem is a rogue AO, then, the solution is to detach it.  Open your inventory and type (WORN -- without the right parenthesis -- in the search field to see a list of everything you are wearing.  Then start removing things until the anim stops.

Try Avatar on top left of screen.  Then Avatar Health- then click stop avatar animations.
