You received an email telling you that your account was banned (time period no real reason).

In this email you get the adress to contact if you think you have been banned unfair.

Check your spam-folder too, often Linden emails go there for whatever reasons.

As Monti says, you can try to appeal a ban.  However, in most cases LL will not reinstate a banned account.
