I am missing Items when a sim closed

Hello, It has been awhile sense a sim I had items in closed due to abuse. I have been going through my inventory and can not find items I use to own that I made myself or bought. I went through my lost and found and opened everything, including what looks like a broken rubik's cube items. I was told nothing is ever deleted, so my items is somewhere out there. What can be done?

When a parcel or sim is reclaimed, even if the owners send back all the items, sometimes no copy items and other items may be lost. There is nothing you can do about it.

If it has been only a very short time (a week or less) since the sim vanished, you can ask Linden Lab to reopen the sim long enough for you to go back in and reclaim items.  After that, the sim and its contents are wiped from the servers.  If you had any no-copy items, they are gone forever.
