what to do when group owner is missing

In a group with lots of people with the owner/founder of the group has been missing for some time and people have joined to only spam the group with unwanted post's.  what can be done by those of us that want to clean up the group and do not have the powers to do so.

Hi Gil,

I think the only thing you can do is create a new group and get everybody to abandon the old one and join yours. You'll lose a few people I'm sure, but I don't see LL doing anything about the current group's structure.
