Unused inventory

Have you ever bought something in your sl life that you no longer have use for. Such as childrens furniture or playsets, to outfits you will never wear any more. What would you do with such items? Im having a hard time thinking of what i should do. Should I just box it away never to be seen again or...

Any suggestions would be wonderful

Well, that is the eternal question. To really make your inventory faster you should do like this:

one third is to delete (all that ugly clothing you will never ever wear again or all the baby stuff if you feel you are grown up now)

one third is to box (stuff you may just need a day after you deleted it, but you didn't use in te last 3 month, put it in a box and give it a really(!!!) speaking name)

one third is to keep (all the things you like, maybe reduced at bit, because you can delete the LM to you fav shop or the notecards with always the same explanations, put in in a file system with numbers like 01_Shoes, 02_Casual Dressing, 03_Lingerie or whatever fits the stuff you have)

 

So you will get the time back by less searching you used to sort your inventory.

Like Burk already pointed out, move the items you don't have any use for anymore into "storage boxes" to make your inventory more "leightweight".

If the items you want to get rid of are transfer you maybe want to do a yard sale. There are also a few people who do yard sales and buy used items. Another option is to sell them on XStreetSL (probably a lot of work to create all the item descriptions).

Alot of it isnt clothing... its more furniture and kid stuff more hten anyhting really... I just dont want it to sit there when its copyable and i know someone else that could use it... And none of it is freebie stuff...

if it is not transfer, you are not going to use it anymore, and it isn't made by some slebrity then may as well delete it. If it is transfer you can give it away or sell it. but giving away stuff that people will laugh at is not very nice imho. Like prim shoes for ladies. People with tons of the old style bad looking prim shoes are probably never going to wear them again since it takes a real artist to make them that look realistic and most are not good looking and make your feet look dumb and half cut off. Just delete them rofl. Same with hair and cruddy skins you will never wear again. Anyone still have that ancient non flexi go go dancer diva hair from who knows when that i once saw a picture of? rofl. retro SL hah hah

if you can transfer it you can do a garage sale. Have seen that before in sl other ppl can nice things for cheap and you earn a little what you else throw away
