I am confused by the two different settings for allowing group access

You have region and parcel settings...I want to keep public access closed, but allow members of the land group in  So which settings am I using?  The parcel is the whole region, btw.  I see in the parcel one, it gives the option for group members, but not in the region one.  Am I leaving allow public access unticked in both places?

ETA:  Thank you, Karen :)  So then, just tick the allow group members in the parcel setting and both allow public access unticked?  That's what I'm confused about....

Individual Parcel access settings override the Region default values. Easy as pie.

So as an example, if you limit access to group members that's what will happen, ugly ban-lines and all.

Public access is public access and will allow anyone not specifically banned from the Region and/or your Parcel access to the parcel.
