How can I find an item in my inventory?

I recently took a box of clothes but i can't find it among other things I bought. Is there a way to filter my search?

There is a search box in the upper area of the inventory window that lets you search for certain items by name, you can also go to File > Show Filters in your inventory and sort by Item Type.

In the case of an item you have just purchased or received the "new item" tab in your inventory is really useful. You can set the definition of "new" by clicking on the new item tab and then choosing file - show filters from the inventory menu.  You can change the time at the bottom of the recent items filters box or you can select "since logoff " to show all new items in this session.

Currently if you go to Inventory and then click File in inventory this will have a selection called Show Filters. This option brings up a new window next to your inventory Window, It allows you to refine your filters by item type and/or When the item was brought/created into your inventory. This can be used in conjunction with the Search Bar at the top of the inventory window to refine your search down to the day and item name.

 

Recent Items tab is also quite helpful if it is something that has been purchashed/re-placed in your inventory since you logged on.
