Why does my sound automatically pause after a second of un-pausing? I can't hear anything.

Question

Ever since the new update, I can't get my play sound button at the top right of the view to stay on play. It automatically switches back to pause. It's probably something dumb that I'm missing. Can anyone advise?

Thanks!

Update: It looks like it's something crazy with my land. The sound plays just fine when I go to clubs etc.

Grr....

Check your bandwidth setting under Me/Preferences/Network.  If it is set to 1500 or higher, bring it down a bit.  Yes, DOWN.  This will free up some more bandwidth for audio.

You should also check your router and software firewalls to be sure the necessary ports are open.  See this link.  http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Using-Second-Life-with-a-firewall/ta-p/1304539

The latest version of the SL Viewer was indeed a "Crashy Pants" & Sound Troubled version of the viewer - Please update with this version which fixed an instability of the FMOD sound library and other Crash issues.

Note: I couldn't stay online to DJ when I upgraded to the version before this one
