Does LL ever plan to reenstate the Personal Message feature that was available on My.Secondlife.Com?

So then. If a Residents Forum is not he way to ask this, is there a way that I can actually ask LL this queston?  I am not too familiar with the comm links here.

Hello Professor,

We're residents here, like you. So, we've no idea what LL is planning. The PM feature was ostensibly removed because of its vulnerability to spam. The forum has been inundated with spam for years. There's been no hint of a resolution. You might let that observation guide your expectations.

Thanks! Of course you are right, but is there any vehicle for asking LL directly, or do they only answer directly from the large property owners?

I reported this in the jira as a bug.  CommerceTeam Linden (who I always visualise as a dalek -- I don't know why) commented "Thanks for the report. Private messaging on My.secondlife.com has been deprecated." and closed it as "Expected Behavior,"  so I take that to mean we won't get it back, or at least that there are no plans to reinstate it in the foreseeable future.
