I have a core 2 duo with 2 gb ram and nvidia 7600gs vga, but viewer did'nt work, do i need to upgrade my system?

Yeah, I'd be surprised if that works. I had an Nvidia 7600 between 2007-2009 sometime. Things have changed quite a lot in nearly 5 years.

Take a look at the Recommended System Requirements, though they're not especially accurate.

I'd say that if you're sticking with Nvidia, you'll need at least a 400-series card for good performance. 2Gb of RAM isn't too fatal since most SL viewers are 32-bit (4Gb is better, and RAM is cheap so the more the better) but that Core Duo will need to be replaced.

Overall, you'll save time buying a new tower PC.

your nvidia 7600 need to be 512 min

2 gig of ram ok

but your 2 core must be a 2gig min (2000 CPU)

try the firestorm viewer before upgrading, it work well with windows and linux.

make sure you downloaded the right viewer

is your system 32 bit or 64 bit, most are 32 bit so download the viewer to suit your system
