Question

I just purchased a rather expensive item in MP and it was not delivered.  I have contacted the seller via note card and am waiting to hear.  What is MP's policy on undelivered merchandise?  I would be very upset if I lost the money I spent on something I wanted with no attempt at resolution on others' part.

The first step was to send the polite request for redelivery.  You did that, so now you wait.  It's not the merchant's fault that you didn't get the product.  Linden Lab charges the merchant a 5% commission on every sale because they are handling the money and making the deliveries. So, wait to see if the delivery is just slow, and wait because the merchant may take a while to read your polite note.  Unlike you and me, many people don't log in to SL every day.  A busy merchant could easily get more than 25 messages in a day, too, so any extras woould be rejected by the system --- capped.  After another three or four days, therefore, you send a second polite note and try again.  If that still doesn't work, you submit a support ticket under the category Marketplace Issue.  Give Linden Lab the transaction information and let them handle it.
