Possible to have a store at the Marketplace without being a merchant in SL?

I created a store, but cannot see how to upload my products for sale.

In the past, we were using the boxes in SL; but now, what happens if we don't have a place in SL?

It is basicly same thing if you have a store on market place only you place your object for sale in a folder. Market place stores are free to have.

Basically having a store on MP is very simple now-at least to set it up(assuming everything goes right and for most people, it does). Instead of putting your items in a magicbox you will send them into the merchant outbox. That will send them directly to the MP. You'll then find your products by going to the MP, going to your merchant home and navigating through there. The info is all on the above page.
