Gregory McLeod Posted January 1, 2014 Share Posted January 1, 2014 What is the purpose and effect of clicking the BLOCK button on the permission to attach dialog?It seems to cause the prim in which the llRequestPermissions(llGetOwner(),PERMISSION_ATTACH) is located to die.Is this right? Innula Zenovka Posted January 1, 2014 Share Posted January 1, 2014 It's an anti-spam measure you find on all permission request dialogues, I think. It's so you can block (or "mute," as I am used to calling it) the object generating the dialogue if it's spamming you. ETA - Blocking the dialog shouldn't cause the prim to die. When I make things to request PERMISSION_ATTACH when they rez though, I set them as TEMP_ON_REZ = TRUE so they'll only last about a minute if they don't get permission to attach.
