How do I set up music in my Linden house?

I am a newbie and I notice other residents have music in their homes. How do I set that up?

Go to World >> About Land >>> Sounds and type the URL for your preferred music stream into the obvious text box.

If you are using the Firestorm viewer, that text box is actually a pull-down menu where you can store several URLs and switch between them whenever you want.  Some other viewers may have the same capability.

If you would prefer, you can buy or create a "radio", which is simply a scripted device that does exactly what I just described. Radios usually have other cosmetic bells and whistles too. Follow the directions on your radio to be sure that it is deeded properly to the group that your parcel is set to.
