Ok this is offtopic but its a question that pertains to second life..

Characters for other games are copyrighted and or trademarked and thus are the intellectual property (IP) of someone.  It is against the TOS to create and / or import avatars of this nature without a license from the owner of the IP rights.  If you violate those rights and a DMCA is filed against you , there are serious RL consequences as you can be sued.  LL can also take action against you for  breaking the TOS, including banning you from SL.

Yes you will see other characters in SL similar to this.  They just haven't be caught yet.  However, all it takes is one person to contact the owner of the IP rights.  It happens.
