snowstorm13
Hello, i m still new to the mesh uploading. Whether I create a mesh in blender or 3ds Max, in the upload window it looks fine, but after I rez it there is a problem. Up close it looks great, but zoom out it loses it shape and looks distorted. Am I not uploading it correctly or is it a creation problem? Thanks for anyones help
Rolig Loon
It sounds like you are seeing normal stepping of Levels Of Detail (LOD) with distance. As your viewpoint moves away from a mesh object, you should expect to see your detail level drop from from High to lower and lower settings. The first page in your downloader will show you the number of vertices your model will have at each LOD if you are letting the downloader calculate the LOD models. ETA: Take a look at Gaia Clary's video tutorial to see what I mean. She's talking about making sculpties in that tutorial but the LOD concept is the same in mesh. She has a good illustration of how the LOD changes with distance from the view point.
