You are probably aware of the web site that carries information about upcoming events in the LEA full sim series.

The current round of Grants (now closed) covers projects through January 2014, so I imagine that the deadline for the next round will be later this Fall.  All that their main web site says is:

The LEA Land Grant is a program to distribute 20 regions generously donated by Linden Lab.

These regions are to be used to promote art and artistic endeavor in Second Life.

Full sims of virtual land are made available to in-world artists through an application process. Residencies on this land are for 5-6 months. Application cycles will be announced through various LEA channels, so stay tuned.
