Hi,

I am a bit frustrated, I have searched using search engines  to find a link that would show friend online via my dashboard.  There is NO such link on the actual dashboard, there is "People", and then you can click "Friends", but the screen with Friends does NOT show if they are online (see 1st pic below). However after a bunch of searching via another search engine I found this link https://secondlife.com/my/account/friends.php? which shows which friends are online,  to use the link you need to be logged into your dashboard (see 2nd pic below).

Why is this so hard, the link to show friends should be present on dashboard and easy to find.  My primary use for dashboard for checking if friends are online.

Another thing, using my android tablet and chrome browser, the first time I checked out the SL forum on the tablet, in the left column it showed "friends and if they are online", also inside of dashboard there was another screen showing friends and if they were online. That only happened one time, since the screens have been same as PC/desktop browser.

If some of you have links that show various info about friends, especially if they are online, please share.

If there is a link in the dashboard I have missed that takes you right to online status of friends, please share.

If you have the settings that show online status of friends while in the forum, please share.

My Dashboard shows my Friends list and their online status:

In addition, there is a Manage link at the bottom of the Dashboard Friends list that brings me to this page:

The Dashboard is set to show your Friends list by default. But...

There are style scripts available that allow you to hide certain widgets on your Dashboard. For instance, I've elected to hide the Linden Home promo widget, the friend invite widget, and the Facebook and Twitter follow widget.

Do you perhaps have such a style script installed, and did you perhaps play around with it at any time?
