To tango or not to tango...that is the question.

I own tangos.

Personally I think they are beautiful. The same way that I think the female body and being one is beautiful. HOWEVER, in rl and in sl I see the public at large act as if what's prefered is when females more closely resemble males in the shaping of their bodies and males resemble females in the dressing and adornment of theirs . Maybe its a "these days" type of thing. To find clothes that a moral and relatively conservative woman would wear with appliers IS possible. I know because I was one who was appalled and disgusted with much of what I saw sold for "clothes" that were for tangos. I pledged never to wear them. Made it my business to search out the non-cleavaged, "real" clothes. And you know what? It didnt matter. The fact that you have breasts that LOOK like breasts will make you a "**bleep**" in the minds of many you meet. You dont have to do anything. You dont have to wear some certain clothing.  To have parts that are not "just barely" female is sufficient. The REAL problem is the opinion bestowed upon women; that they either need to be almost asexual and austure or "they are whores". Thats where we are as a world; the facts of being a woman are dirty and denegrated to the point that the only time one is "clean and worthy" is if she figures out how to get rid of the appearance of being one; no hips, no behind, no breasts. The LL avi "has breasts" but they're flat to the body unless degravitized to the point of looking like spikey, unhuman rocks. So breasts then must lay flat to be acceptable.  I dunno about anybody else, but I have to turn my avi sideways to figure out if she's supposed to have breasts or not without tangos. Breast size 0 and 60 look the same. -just drawn and flat, one not quite as flat as the other but only by a touch.

Anyway, I said all of that to say "be ready". You can wear all the right things all you like, you will still "be damned".

I honestly don't give a damn about how others perceive me. I'm not shopping to suit other people's taste, I'm shopping to suit my -own- tastes.

I don't buy slutty tango clothing, not because of how I'd be perceived, but because I simply DON'T LIKE THE CLOTHING. They don't suit my taste, therefore I don't wear them.

I like classy clothing.

I also like my tangos.

So why shouldn't I be able to wear both at the same time?

That's all I'm saying - nothing more, nothing less.
