the word selected disappear....use cut and past to save time but now it does not work anymore..

Hi, that is a bug in the CHUI release candidate.

If you would rather use a differrent candidate without the bug, you can choose from the list at http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_Lab_Official:Alternate_Viewers - the maintenance branch is a nice one.

If you would like to keep using the viewer you have installed, avoid the mouse for cut/copy/paste. You can instead use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+Z and those won't delete the text.

To follow up, that bug is fixed with v3.6.4 (280048).
